Is it just me or is Terry Henry s**t as a pundit?

After the big build-up and contract I expected something slightly insightful and a voice that doesn't send me to sleep.

I was expecting more too. His first game he was really good but it's all the same? One tone and like you say can put you to sleep which is ashame because the things he is saying are really insightful.

Redknapp should have been taken off our screens eight years ago.

    Carragher is really good.

Souness is good too but sometimes says some ridiculous things/criticisms.

    Neville is top dog.

I think Jamie has a job because of who his dad is and he looks good in a suit.

I've found Henry hit and miss so far.

What would he do if he wasn't a pundit? Hang out the back of stuff?

Bring back the Motty and Coleman show without all these noses in the Murdoch trough ex footballers who continually big up this crap as the best league in the world. I wonder who's interest it is in to keep cementing this lie?

I think people are a bit too obsessed with rating and comparing pundits. It'll be a reality show where you vote them all off before long.

I can't take any pundit putting on an Allo Allo accent seriously.

I can make up my own mind about what I have just seen and don't need 2,3, even 4 ex-footballers also telling me what I have just seen. When they are babbling on about nothing its a good time to make a cup of tea or something stronger. Fancy computer screens an obsession with statistics, assists? give me stregnth its a pass of the ball nothing else, and barring the actual match the whole other rigmarol is a good excuse for the said cup of tea or surf the other channels until the next match is shown.

Henry has already gone on about how it's OK to dive in certain situations so he's just another idiot commentator in my opinion, a cheat to boot.

I'd like to have an option where you just have crowd noise. This week I've seen commentators calling the goalie by the left-backs name on the italian football and Michael Owen calling Robertson 'Robinson' all game, not to mention the classic Jonathan Pearce idiot moment going on about 36 year old Mcshanes creaking limbs

Is he the one who played basketball to score a goal for France in the World cup play-off against Ireland.

Wasn't Peace who screwed up with goalline technology in the world cup game between France vs Honderus?

Yes, the exact same guy. I don't know how somebody like that stays in such a priviliged job, commentating on the football.

100% agree, Redknapp is absolutely **** as,a pundit. I don't understand how everyone lambasted Phil Neville but Redknapp gets away with it. Oh I do understand, its what you said above.

think Henry is the type of pundit I expected him to be judging by the way he played the game, he was that laid back he was almost horizontal until that incisive moment when ooooops he had it in the back of the net, he seems to have transferred the laid back approach ok, i`m just waiting the incisive bit now !

Not as blatantly as our Elmo. Of course cheating is only reprehensible when carried out by players of other clubs.
Personally I think we should be grateful he spared us the fawning over Ireland and idiots adopting them as a second team despite the fact the Irish always wish us to lose.

If we had enough players, I'd want Elmo dropped for that embarrassing nonsense.
