It's ****, it sells crap clothes at cheap prices for tramps, no surprise Peterboroughs getting a big un. I went to primark once, didn't have a jumper and it was cold, had a fiver in me pocket so thought **** it. Chucked it in one of those clothes recycling bins next day.

I hate Primark. The clothes are horrid and it is far to warm in there. Unfortunately, when in the City Centre, my wife always wants to have a look in!

The Hull Primark is big, but if you're having a dick swinging competition over the size of a Primark, your life is seriously ****ed.

Primark pay bowls of rice for getting their gear made, so they can sell it for nothing and anyone who shops there should feel dirty.

Always makes me laugh how people get snobby and pissy over Primark while wearing stuff made in sweatshops by the likes of Nike etc

Almost all the big chains and brands also use similar, ****ty methods of getting us all that cheap stuff we need, and its not limited to clothes but electronics too.

Usually only use it as a cut through if its raining.
Always seems to smell of rubber.
The paper carriers seem better made that the produce within
A few years ago when Ryan Air flew from Humberside went to Dublin and there seemed to be a Primark on every street corner

They've just opened their second store on Oxford Street, London. Their trade is amazing, they generate incredible footfall and sales, also for neighbouring retailers.

Nevertheless they sell cheap disposable goods, but are incredibly popular with youngsters, tourists and folks visiting the West End.

I couldn't give a **** how things are made, who they're made by or how they're paid for, I don't shop at primark because their gear is hopelessly ****, horrible and poorly made.

Got to by free range eggs though, keeping hens caged up in the manner they do is nothing short of despicable, I'm a man of morals me.

how big is it?? as in square foot wise??
dunno about that but its in the old Allders building.
    heh
Id imagine it to be a fairly large chain, what with us being in a recession and all that.

<laugh> Ffs don't take my posts seriously.

59,000 sq ft is big, I can't remember how many floors Allders had, but I doubt it was more than 59,000 sq ft.

I can find out if it really matters to you?

Funny you should mention Primark when I came to Hull this summer I did'nt really bring that much stuff with me, first day I went in there and bought some shoes and shirts, socks underwear that kinda stuff and I chucked it all away before I came back.
Wen't to Tescos and loaded up on McVities choccy digestives, Weetabix, and various Cadbury's products for the return trip.
Some things are worth dragging across the atlantic but Primark stuff aint in that category :)

    Done.

I'm always getting told off by people for not following them, but I only normally follow City players, sports journalists and the odd comedian.
