OT: Mafia

Got to say, I thought some would cheat and use the PM system for this but so far I've not seen any. Obviously the mafia guys will have been (or is that bared too? Were they just told who the other one was in the PM?) but thought townies would cheat

 

The Mafia are allowed to use pm.

Us Townies aren't allowed to use PM hence my putting all my comments in here...

That's what makes me think the "post a voter and piss off" people might be the mafia.

Going to get interested after first vote when we have the inspectors who might have found out who the mafia person is.

Do you believe them, or is it a bluff

 

Of course, Milk saying that mafia tend to do that suggested it too

How does the inspector thing work? Are they able to ask people questions (that have to be answered honestly) or something?

 

I'm not sure but I'd guess they can ask Milk is "so and so" Mafia, and they'll get a yes or no answer. Then it' up to them what they do with that information, but only allowed to ask 1 question a night and would have to be specific.

However, could be wrong

 

And I guess the Mafia inspector gets the same question "is so and so the townie inspector" and then try and convince people he's mafia and is bluffing to try and get people to turn on them so they can cover their own backs (although that would be pretty obvious that they are then the mafia inspector for the next round).

 

As Milk assigned a townie investigator or do we have to appoint one?

The detective gives/ milk a name via pm and he reveals the role after 8 pm Fri

Yeah to whoever the detective is, then up to Detective if he wants to reveal. Pros and cons for doing so I wouldve thought. This is giving me a headache enough so glad im a civillian and dont hae to do much bar cast a vote!
