    Fit or fat...what are you?

It is has already been recorded on the Warm Glow thread that Obi (karate), Albert (jogging) and myself (Roger Black rowing machine) are fit as.

We work out to maintain our physiques and no doubt earn many an admiring glance from the ladies (a definite bonus).

I, personally, have shifted two stones in the past two years and no longer consider myself a tubby little **** (I'm only five foot nine <wah>) However, I do have a 32" waist, flat stomach and tipped the scales earlier at eleven stone twelve.....lean middleweight <cool>

So, what are you? Chocolates or work-out? Fit or fat?

    Over to you

Of course, the thread should be titled OT Fit or Fat <doh>

Luckily, Darth Gogledd is a brilliant mod (and also is sexy as ****) so it has been edited. Hurrah, the day has been saved!!!

I'm 6'4 and at my last medical tipped scales at 16st and the nurse said and I quote "you're getting away with it because your tall". Could exercise more, should exercise more having a gym at work. Definitely need to eat less, I still eat like I did as a teenager or early 20's. In saying all that I'm only a 34" waist so I'm not exactly fat even if my BMI suggests otherwise

Pretty much this! 6'4" but nearly 17 stone. I eat like a horse and drink loads of beer. However, I also cycle to work and back which is a 20 mile round trip to Manc every day, so I get away with a lot of it. Its all about balance really.

When I went to school, I used to be on my exercise bike (40km) and rowing machine (10km), then do weights... It would take about 6 hours to do a workout, so I was coming home, doing my homework in like an hour, then desperately trying to finish my full workout programme so I could get a few hours sleep!

During Uni I started running regularly and started with the barbell, but then I injured my knee. Now I'm mainly just weights and situps these days, and barbell a couple of times a week. Lifting more than I ever did, which is pleasing, but it's purely to keep my lady happy, I don't get much enjoyment from it anymore, it's a chore.

Nice one fellas, we are quite a fit bunch <thumbs up>

I used to smoke and drink but quit the ***s about 15 years ago and hardly touch the booze anymore.....of which I am glad, hangovers do me in.

Right now, in my forties, I reckon I'm fitter than I've ever been (though do suffer from a dodgy back).

Oh and it looks like I need specs for reading (got an eye test on Saturday).
