Good to hear, hope he comes out of it with no complications and is able to walk the team out at some point next season!

What a great idea if they had an official opening of the South Stand and Oskar cut the RED ribbon..

LATEST NEWS ON OSKAR - AMAZING !!!! (taken from twitter)

After a difficult weekend and a rather poorly Oskar who had the staff worried not just me! Turns out morphine doesn't agree with him and after having the crash team on standby for most of Sunday it's not a medication I think he will be having again.
Yesterday the was a marked improvement not only was he able to be sat up but all his tubes were removed. Another amazing thing not only has Oskar got warm feet (normally they are like blocks of ice) but he managed to wiggle his toes something that he has never been able to do. Sounds stupid but him wiggling his toes made me cry.
For today the physio team are going to try and get him out of bed and into his wheelchair for the first time since Friday. It's all baby steps but very much steps in the right direction.
He's keeping the nurses on their toes and has even tried to chat a few up ! - Lizzy Pycroft

I don't mind admitting I get a bit emotional reading about Oscar - the song "one of our own" comes to mind

Remember the good old days when teams had mascots leading them on to the pitch for every home game and far from it being my decision I don't think we have to look any further. Bristol City and it's supporters have taken this brave young man to their hearts and some kind of longer term expression of support may just be the ticket for Oskar.

Message to Oskar from Canada "keep your chin up my man".

Truth is there are lots of parents out there in Bristol with kids whose health is a major cause for concern to them, and lets not forget the Gas fans contributed to Oskars cause with some enthusiasm as well. I have been lucky enough to have 2 healthy kids but know how devastating this would be if it happened to my family. A close friend of mine did the walk to Wembley for Oskar and I feel proud for him that he did.

We have taken this little lad to our hearts and I sincerely hope he makes full recovery.. he's one of our own!

But lets not forget the others too..
