    Well Arsenal wanted him last year and Barcelona said they wanted £30m for him, he MUST be good and they WILL use their buyback clause in two years.

    Not only that, they pay us treble what we paid.

    Not used to that sort of imbalance in our transfer dealings...

    I think its good we are looking at youth but Im not a fan of the buy back clause in his contract.... AVB obviously likes him which is a start...

    Not sure if the buy back is an auto thing that Barca can trigger at will...ie after one season he's average, they don't care...2nd season he's mustard and they think " we'll have him back, here's the £15m"....

    That could **** us...but at least we'll have profitted I suppose...

    As someone said before...he could be a load of ****<laugh>

    If he's good and Barca activate the clause least we would have made a profit and had 2 seasons out of him. I've certainly seen worse deals done at the bridge in the last few years!!
