Im as bored as hell and there's no proper football on so IMO setting up a competition for anyone that wants to enter. I have tried to guess opening day fixtures and other events I.e Reading Festival (meaning Reading will almost certainly start off at home) as well as Olympics (which means West Ham will almost certainly start off away). If anyone manages to guess one or more fixtures absolutely spot on I'll give away all my free points (I have loads). By spot on I mean the fixture must be called totally correct. I.e home team vs away team in order. If you manage to get it half right points will be given out at my discretion Here's my guess: Chelsea vs Wigan Reading vs Fulham Southampton vs Manchester United Manchester City vs Newcastle Sunderland vs Arsenal Everton vs WBA Stoke City vs Liverpool Aston Villa vs QPR Tottenham vs Norwich Swansea vs West Ham
Right then: Wigan v Chelsea Newcastle v Fulham QPR v Man City Arsenal v Swansea Man Utd v Sunderland WBA v Tottenham Southampton v Norwich West Ham v Stoke Liverpool v Aston Villa Reading v Everton
Aren't all London teams away on the first day due to the running and jumping going on in Stratford? Anyway: Sunderland v QPR Man U v Reading Southampton v Man City Norwich v Chelsea Liverpool v West Ham Newcastle v Spurs Villa v Arsenal Swansea v Fulham Wigan v West Brom Stoke v Everton
Norwich vs Chelsea Newcastle vs Arsenal Man City vs Reading Southampton vs Spuds Man United vs West Ham Stoke vs Liverpool Aston Villa vs Swansea Everton vs Fulham West Brom vs Sunderland Wigan vs QPR Be surprised if anyone wins
I thought that was just a myth. I sure hope not otherwise its looking like our first game at the Bridge may not be till September, either that or we will have to Open on a Sunday. The latest rumours I'm hearing are that West Ham are away to City and Chelsea are away to Wigan but obviously nothing is confirmed or official, just ITK talk
I hope you're wrong DL. Like you, having lived in this most dismal of cities for three years I'm not planning on coming back so soon.
