TO be fair lads a man like Shearer has never been seen and never will be seen in football again. One of the best players in the world turning down bags of money and countless trophies to play for his boyhood club. Fair enough he didn't win us anything but he gave us a lot of years of brilliant enjoyment and top quality football. More than a touch of jealousy in some of these posts ("jealous of what, blah blah"). I'd like a Shearer or more fittingly a stand naming after him. But that one in the OP is a monstrosity and looks nothing like him, so it's a no from me.

Gerrard is about as close as there has been however - he has still won a lot of trophies and Liverpool have been consistent top 4 team throughout his time there. He also chose to leave for Chelsea despite a very late U-turn. Shearer was not on pittance but could have been on double if he wanted.
Don't know what you mean As for your song about Shearer, it's possibly one of the worst and least creative songs I have ever heard from a group of fans, and shows your obsession with him and jealousy of him being ours I've never even seen him wear a hat
