Well actually I have sympathy with her. There is also a run which takes places by me yearly and they close the only route to and from our estate effectively meaning you can't leave your house by car. We did not agree to the run, have not signed up for anything and there is nothing in the deeds confirming anything. You also get quite militant folk guarding the cones who think they now have authority over your right to leave and to get to your house which they ****ing don't! The woman probably had somewhere to go and they have no right (as far as I'm aware) to stop her.
But as you've stated, you know it happens yearly, so surely you plan and park accordingly around it for a day or a few hours?
We're on estate and it runs right along the road which connect it to normal roads. I'd have to park about 3 miles away. They put their **** everywhere the day before and is cleared by midday.
How long does it take to walk 3 miles, 30+ minutes for someone reasonably able. Exercise might do you good mate. Looked like that lady could have done with walking for 30 minutes
They know where you live, they know you will moan, they do it purposely to piss you off, do you own a gun?
You're entirely missing the point mate. They have no right to tell people when they can and can't leave their own home. Its irrelevant if I can walk 3 miles to get to my car . Entertaining practicalities - what do I do if I want to put something big in my car and take it home? Walk that 3 miles? Not everyone can physically walk miles, no taxi can get there and bus service not available. If someone starting forcing access issues to your house you'd soon change your tune. "You're not allowed to drive there!" "Says ****ing who its my house?! Get out the way!"
I used to live a couple of miles from Silverstone you just do a bit of forward thinking around that time, bitch needs to chill.
I live just off the sea front, we have runs, air shows, festivals, and 1000s of chavvy bastards as soon as the sun comes out. **** this women, the dopey saggy cow.
Sounds quite dangerous if there was a fire or medical emergency. Anyway, this old bird was trying to get to a “workshop” and just started driving along the course. She sounds mental rather than having a genuine grievance.
