I see the false hoops of Reading are now the half hoops, only on the front. Just doesn't look right to me. There's only one real hoops...
Just commenting to the better half on that meself mate.At best they're bars,"super-bars".Look stupid! Still at least now without question we are the hoops
Legs scored and Gorkks had a decent game and when they went 1-0 up i thought how ironic if they went up and we went down after we deemed the 2 players not good enough for the Prem then after watching a bit more i realised that we were right to get shot of them. Gorkks looked good at that level but he is too slow for the Prem and Legs is not good enough. The Kit made me laugh all that stick they tried to give us about 'hoops' and they don't even wear them? Glad we are out of that division, very poor.
FC Dallas in the MLS over 'ere wear Reading-like kits as their away kit - at home they do wear full hoops (and have the nerve to call themselves "Hoops"). At least Toronto's Reds wear a Canadian bank logo on their shirts - keeps me reminded I'm not watching Arsenal or Liverpool or MUFC or Forest etc.. I actually commented on that to a friend at a game so he asked me about "Blue" but it turned he was a Chelski supporter - heven't seen him since, come to think
Canadian - born nine blocks from the US border, but Canadian If it helps, my wife is an expat - born in Oxford, raised in London, someplace out near Lewisham, but noI exactly Lewisham. Only match she has been to was at Loftus Rd though - her heart is in the right place
Always wanted to go to Canada. When i was younger i watched adverts advertising Ontario and said one day i would like to visit.
ELLERS If you come, come in summer or early fall - some places like Vancouver are usually not too bad in winter but out this end, in Ontario here near Toronto, the winter can be very cold and very snowy. Last winter, we had a snowfall of about 42 inches in early December
We got the tail end of all that over here last December, only difference is everything was totally paralysed in London, just couldn't cope. No doubt everything carries on as normal over there...
Hi again Actually I knew he played for us. I also read in an interview article that he held a record of sorts - first ever international player to score a goal (Canada doesn't get many of those) for a country he had never set foot in. Seems one of his grandfather was Canadian which qualified him to play for us. I knew he was from West London from that article - I didn't remeber that it was Brent. He also, in that article said he was life-long QPR supporter. The article was in one of the first 5 issues of QPR-The Official Magazine. Apparently he has been here since
