Ross Jenkins II goes to Plymouth on loan. Mingoia, Whichelow, Britt and Garner also out. All to make way for the Italians?? Is this the way for our homegrown players? Is it good for them? Or the club.??

    What do you think.....???

Well I think we all agree that Garner was poor when he played, so he had to go. It was a waste of time him being here, its better he gets games for Carlisle. Britt is still very young and there is plenty of time for him to break into the squad. He struggled a little last season and the players we have are better. Mingoia and Whichelow are both close to breaking into the squad, but are still very young. I wont even mention the other.

Whichelow and Mingoia are nowhere near the first team I'm afraid. For me Jenkins can still play a role in this team

Jenkins has never impressed me, i'm surprised he's still with us at all. Whichelow showed a lot of promise 3 years ago, but doesn't seem to have progressed, regardless of Manager or owners. Britt is still young and is doing well on loan, but as Dan says, he wasn't quite ready last season, and still probably needs time. Mingoia is the only one that has surprised me, as Zola seemed to like him and played him a fair amount before the season really got going. Are they making way for the Italians? No, i don't think so. I truly believe that Zola will give equal chance to our youth and Italians, and as he said yesterday, he'll play either if they're good enough, and if they're not, they'll be moved on.

For youngsters coming through I think its time to look at the group below...

Most of the above have had a chance and not really made it for whatever reason.

Garner is a poor player anyway.

They have been pushed down the pecking oder, but they still would've been sent out on loan, maybe not jenkins though
