After watching that interview and hearing Quinny's comments, Ellis is going to back him in January. Very pleasing
It's only going to work if MON gets the right players in & uses the right tactics, what I saw again today, play badly for a while, then play great, after the game is lost or vice versa, the players responded too late yet again
Nowt on you tube and i didnt sky+ it so i cant even record that for you mate, he came accross mint as usual and said he is more determined than ever to be a success here, said that expectations can often be too high and will get it right, believes in the players. Quinn hinted that he will have money in january and that he deffo the man to take us forward, january will be crucial he said (he actually mentioned his potential backing in january a couple of times)
cheers for that mate sounds great!! our luck has to turn sooner or later, maybe need the ball to bounce of someones arse or something but were playing much better so fingers crossed..
Need three or for signings desperately, Rose being one, really hope Mon spends a bit in January. Think we need to spend about £25m to get the squad to where it needs to be. Can't see Short giving us more than half of that though.
I wouldnt be too sure, he must still have the dempsey money burning a hole in his wallet, i reckon he is going to be given a real chance, this window is ehat its all been about since drumaville imho, make or break
the commentators today said that rose said "I am using this time at Sunderland, so the new management at spurs AVB etc, can see how good of a player I am so when I go back next year, I can push for a place in the team" not "I am using this loan and playing well because i love it here and i would like to make it permanent, but that is up to spurs/ we already have an agreement in place, so Jan cant come soon enough for me" so if that is 100% accurate and not sure why the commentators for a sky match would lie, embelish the truth, it looks like another player who we get for someone else and are making him better for them.
To be fair Steve, earlier on in his loan he stated he wanted it to be made permanent. Though that was before we turned ****e and he turned class. May have had a change of heart. If it was me I'd be doing my utmost to sign him regardless.
how many players that we have had on loan have we made permanent? Elmo is the only one that springs to mind recently and we all seen what happened there (there may be more im getting old and memory isnt what it used to be, but i cant think of any)
