Unfair....O'Niell's job was get us to a point after which Hoillet, also recovering from injury, could come on and cause mayhem....which he did. O'Niell is a good team player, and did OK yesterday. Lay off...they are all doing fine
Oneill always wanted to play central yesterday, constantly moving infield. If, as expected, we lose Barton, Oneill may start to look much better if played in the centre imo.
Agree with others. Could tell he was carrying a slight injury. Obviously asked to do a job for the team for 60mins and was heavily strapped up. So well done to the lad for putting in his shift.
He is a quality signing for us. Let us not do what we did to Ramage, Hill and others at the beginning. We judged them based on how they play in a position which is not their natural one.
By all means not his best game yesterday, but he was injured. Also, I did think he showed some intelligence during the game. Several clever runs that were not that obvious and a few good passes.

He did.......but he clearly wants to play in the centre, as that is where he went a lot of the time. Left us a bit unbalanced on the right. Could be good in the centre.
