    For Mr Bruce.....

Say, for example, Bendtner gets cut down by a Chelsea player today, breaks his leg, and is out for the season?

I have grave fears now. I'm as loyal as the next lad, but for ****s sake how can you go into a Premier League season with one proven striker? Has Bruce lost the plot completely? I can't believe for a second this wasn't on the cards a week ago when the transfer window was still open?

Define proven, hes been a bit part player at Arsenal at best.

Its obvious this has long been in the offing. I can't understand how the top brass could allow the situation to develop as to allow THE main striker to leave without being able to bring in a replacement; or be happy with what remained.

I sincerly hope it was neither and I don't for a second think it was. If it was though messrs Short, Quinn and Bruce need to take a long hard look at themselves.
