Played well today That's why I cant fault him when he drops the occasional clanger Especially with the idiots in front of him
i said a month ago that without dubravka we would be in the bottom 3 and someone on here had a right go at me
i think we would stay down with bruce in charge... some good sides in that league now and good managers too.
A defeat in the Tyne and Wear derby in the championship might be what our idiotic fans need to show them how dire the situation is.
We wouldn't have been worrying about relegation with Rafa in charge. With Brucie we could have been top of the table after 10 games but you would still have to keep one eye out for relegation. You only have to look at his stats to see where he fits in in PL managerial terms.
Fans are dropping like flies. 10,000 down and counting, those 10,000 aren't renewing in the Championship, gates would be around half capacity I reckon if Ashley persists. I think we'll be averaging about 40k or so if Ashley/Bruce remain next year.
You are having a laugh right? Most of the past two seasons we were in that zone. Can't be arsed, to look again, but i am sure this place reflected that fear, but it was all Ashley's fault was the narrative, oh and the players weren't good enough either. Oh and the regularly crap substitutions on 60 minutes were because Rafa knew best. He has gone, thank ****, we have not looked like getting relegated for most of the season. I agree we look seriously rubbish at the moment, but relegated? No chance. Drop at least one of the non-scoring front three, get the old pros back in the team and normal, mid table performances will be resumed.
I’m not talking about the past two seasons. I’m talking about this season. We were seventh (?) best performing team from about January last season to the end of the season. Rafa would have built on that this season. So no I’m not having a laugh I’m simply using recent experience as a guide.
