    Ok it's going to take some time but this has got to be good news with Bellamy back at the club

    Ok he's not on the wage bill and Tan may want to get rid when Bellers' popularity rises but it's a start, and who knows .....he may even pass on some of his 'win or die trying' mentality to the youngsters coming through (and hopefully a word or two with the senior players)

    Could it be that Tan is trying to get the fans on-side & is lining Bellers up as a replacement for Slade?

    It would certainly distract a lot of the criticism away from Tan for appointing Slade in the first place.

    I thought something similar Whiffle but Bellers is even less proven than Ole and Slade.
    8 points from relegation, Slade will be back managing where he belongs if the club don't do something. Getting battered at home every week (Rotherham battered us) can only end one way.

    I honestly think Slade's days are numbered, anyway.

    Bellemy replacing him would certainly unite the squad (I still think the players we've got...with a couple of additions - left back, holding midfielder & a decent striker - are good enough for top six). All we need is someone to bring a little unity....Slade hasn't managed to do it, CB would definately bring that to the table. And if it didn't work out I don't think Tan would get much criticism.

    Oh and a similar thing seems to have worked down West.
