Nzonzi has made his feelings clear about a departure from Blackburn after the Lancashire side were relegated from the English Premier League last season. The French midfielder has been frozen out of Roversâ pre-season preparations to date and, with no club willing to pay the clubâs valuation of £10m, a loan deal is now the best possible option. Sevilla will pay the majority of his wages but Blackburn have included a recall clause, meaning they could recall the midfielder in January if he is needed. The 23-year-old Rovers for a nominal fee from French second division outfit Amiens in 2009 on a four-year deal.
While no doubt he is an improvement on what we have and would add height and a bit of pace to our CM, think we are well covered for now and strengthening that position is not a priority.
