Hats off to DM and the club, I am glad to see we finally have a manager who is not afraid to make hard choices for the good of the club. After getting Carey to take quite a large pay cut it appears that Cisse has been told if he canât find a new club he will have to take a pay cut to stay at the gate. It is clear that we have a manager in charge who knows that we are in a time when money is tight so expects the players to take a cut to their wages and muck in. With a number of first team/squad players out of contract come the end of this season I am guessing they will have to take cuts to their salaries to stay. The main three I am aware of are Skuse, Pitman and Stead. Being a local lad I can see Skuse agreeing to a pay cut to stay at the club but I have my doubts over whether Pitman and Stead are here next season. Hopefully we will see what DMâs plans are if he brings in any new strikers. Maybe if they made any savings they might look at passing that money on to season ticket prices next season but I guess they have enough debt that they need to pay off.
