Went to two games at Wembley this week - one was the Men's semi-final on Tuesday - the other the Women's final last night.

Wont say much about Tuesday's as it was a poor game really - with Mexico beating Japan 3-1.

But I must say, the Womens game last night was excellent - really good quality with some great passing. It was also a record Olympic attendance for a Womens match at 80,300 odd.

Atmosphere was great, and we were seated in the top tier - and I must say I didnt realise just how good Wembley is. Tuesday we were in the lower tier - but the top tier is something special! Awsome views around the whole stadium. What a piece of construction.

But my favourite moment was in the medal ceremony. A few of you may remember the wonderful Sepp Blatter criticising the Women's game a few years ago and gettting heavily criticised for it. Well stupidly he was chosen to present the medals to the Bronze and Silver winning squads.

When he was announced to the crowd I had hoped a few would boo him - but everyone did! The boo's around the stadium was clearly heard! And his face on the screen wasnt best pleased!

I am surprised that he has time to present medals. He is spending more time working on how he is going to take the millions he has made out of the game (kickbacks included) with him when he dies. All to no avail, as Satan will have it off him before he is allowed into hell!

To be fair, I've never been a fan of women's football, it's usually very poor. However, I watched the USA v Canada game the other night and was quite impressed, some quality passing and movement from both teams. I felt a bit sorry for Canada in the end, they deserved to take it to penalties but unfortunately it appears the standard of keeping is still as bad as it's ever been in the women's game.

And as for Blatter, he's a cun7 and if I was there I'd have made sure he heard me call him one too.

The top level of womans football is really good with one exception, the goalies. They arent even pub team standard and theres usually one laughable goal a game that Id have been embarrassed about letting in.

Japan deserved to win the game by a mile imo. USA started well but Japan missed so many good chances, but both played very well!

Didn't get to watch the game, but from the coverage over here, Hope Solo played a blinder. I watched her in the Women's World Cup and she didn't look to bad then.

Come to that, I don't think she looks too bad in general.....
