Anyone going to watch the relay in Portsmouth and surrounding areas?

    http://www.london2012.com/torch-relay/route/

We are day 58 and 59. It comes through Fareham at 16.29 Sunday 15 July, onto Gosport at 17.17,then across the harbour to Pompey at 18.05.

On the 16th, it starts at Fratton Park at 07.41, bright and early and goes up Goldsmith Avenue then up Fratton Road, Kingston Road and finishes in Kingston Crescent, where it looks like it will go by helicopter onto Petersfield.

I will certainly be there next week, when it comes through my part of London.

People are genuinely excited and interested in the Olympics here, is that the same in the rest of the country ??

Would be interested to know! <ok>

Oh yes, especially the cycle road race. Cav could cap off a spectacular 12 and a bit months. Green jersey in the tour last year, World champion and maybe Olympic gold.
