Squad for the Olympics: J Allen (Swansea), C Bellamy (Liverpool), R Bertrand (Chelsea), J Butland (Birmingham), S Caulker (Tottenham), T Cleverley (Manchester United), J Cork (Southampton), C Dawson (West Brom), R Giggs (Manchester United), A Ramsey (Arsenal), M Richards (Manchester City), D Rose (Tottenham), S Sinclair (Swansea), M Sordell (Bolton), J Steele (Middlesbrough), D Sturridge (Chelsea), N Taylor (Swansea), J Tomkins (West Ham) Good to see Danny Rose given a chance, he was loyal to Leeds and I wonder if he would have made more international progress if he had stayed at Elland Road for another season.
He was approached at the same time as "doo dah" & "whats a m call him" when Chelsea took and destroyed our promising youngsters.... I could get their names off Google but they are not important enough, the point is that Danny Rose turned them down and waited to be sold.
Gotcha, thanks. I have to say that is a decent looking squad but may have been "better" with the inclusion of: 1) Irish player(s), 2) Scottish player(s), 3) Beckham instead of Bellamy. Check this link out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiPZuA9-HDY
Disagree Jla. If players were good enough they would be in. Where are the new John Charles, Gary Speed, Billy Bremner, Gordon Strachan etc? There's Gareth Bale and thats it. There is no player from Scotland that would get near the squad currently. Where is the new George Best?
