    Indeed it does....
All these concessions just to get to talks. Just wait till the EU start playing hard ball over the substantive points.
All that has been agreed is a wooly form of words and a £50 bill just to have some talks...
Exactly we have given away will only become clear when the small print is published.

What is clear is the irish question has not en resolved.

All we are doing is kicking the can down the road. nothing has changed.

Just keep a list of the concessions both sides make, as things proceed

    I’ll do the EU list:

    1. They have now agreed we can actually start talking about substantive matters, having forced us to concede on cash, citizens and Ireland
    2 erm....... that’s it

    Undoubtedly a good news day

I suppose it means we have avoided changing PM to someone even worse if you want to scratch around for something good to say

Credit where credit is due Theresa May has done well to get it to the next stage of talks and definitely has saved her job for now.

She has manged to do the best she could on NI by kicking it down the can and has gained a concession from the EU by being able to sell it as nothing is finalised until everything is finalised by moving the final details to the next stage. But the promises that are underwritten to Ireland, the DUP and the EU mean the problem is dormant rather than resolved and come the end of the final deal something is finally going to have to give.

But as I say credit where credits due balancing the EU, the DUP, Ireland, the remainers with in her party and the hard Brexiteers means that the best that she could manage for herself and her party at this stage is to get the problem delayed until she can frame it with in other negotiations.

    Not in our lifetimes

Which, once we close the NHS due to lack of funds, may be sooner than any of us think
