As were I know people will feel cheated if we don’t leave. The trouble is, people will feel cheated if we do leave - those who wanted near total sovereignty will hate whatever fudged deal May ends up with as ‘not really Brexit’ , those who just wanted to control immigration (like my friend) and believed there would be no adverse economic effects, and of course people who voted Remain and believe the British people were lied to and that breaking electoral rules makes the result invalid. I think we should bring back Cameron and make the lazy useless fcker sort out the mess he created . Seriously I can’t see this ending well whatever happens
That's the problem. You say that this government has f*cked up leaving royally, your words. I would not disagree however it's so f*cked up because of all the so called remainders who will not let go. If we get a bad deal I will be blaming them.
But the adage should work. When in Britain do as the Brits do. Brits--- is that a racist word by the way.
What have the remainers blocked? The negotiations have been carried out by David Davis, Boris Johnson and Liam Fox all Brexiteers, all who assured it was going to be easy and all who have f*cked up because they are driven by a desire to leave without acknowledging how difficult it was always going to be. It's their mess, it's on their watch, that's where the blame will deservedly lie.
Exactly, this along with the Goverment not having a strong leader and the opposition having even more of a prick in charge. I'm the same as you, if we had voted remain I'd have accepted it and moved on. What is really happening the remainers are demanding a deal that would look like we haven't really left, they want a deal and agreements in place that would mean we have left in name only. The government are pandering to the remainers because deep down they never really wanted to leave, I voted leave, I'll accept the hardship that would come with a hard brexit in the knowledge and belief that in 10 years time we'll be in a better position than we would have been in a remain.
That applies for visitors but not residents. When you're a British citizen then you're a British citizen so if you wish to cover your hair for stupid religious reasons then you're free to do so please log in to view this image
You just don't get it do you. The EU negotiators are being encouraged to be particularly hard because of the support that they are getting from the so called remainers. With the full backing of all parties we could be negotiating from a position of strength or is this too simple
You keep saying, breaking electoral rules, yet Cameron used £7 million of tax payers money to send every household in the country remain leaflets and fiddled it so it never counted against the remain budget.
Painful, yes but along the lines of what I would have done.... Warn everyone we are heading for a hard brexit as the rest of Europe want to stitch us up and make an example of us. Tell everyone two years in advance start sourcing British, we need to all STICK together on this and tell the likes of Tesco and Sainsbury and Morrisons source British and receive a subsidy, tell the likes of Aldi and Lidle purchase from anywhere other than the UK and you are going to be heavily taxed. Companies and individuals buying German cars, give them two years warning to plan ahead of what the deal is, instead we are not very good at sticking two fingers up at Europe and sticking together, we just bicker and argue and moan that the brexit voters got it wrong rather than think okay this isn't what I wanted but how can we make it work. No instead of thinking how can we make this work they scaremonger, argue, demand another vote, think of every obstacle possible and constantly attempt to block any forward movement.
But is that what was put to the electorate by the leave campaign? Was it 350 million to the NHS on the bus or we'll turn the M20 into a lorry park and have to stockpile medicine and then in 10 years time we may be better off? It's ok for you to accept this hardship but it's not fair to inflict that on others.
They do know that its their back stabbing that's made negotiations hard, but prefer to bury their heads in the sand and shout it not our fault.
The hard brexit brigade have not come up with a plan at all, they are just hot air. The WTO route will itself be very difficult for many years. And - I thought Johnson, gove, Davis and Fox were Leavers, they’ve all been in the government, why have they not come up with a credible plan? The truth is the British people were lied to - and adding ‘by both sides’ does not make that any better
Lies, lets look at some of the lies told by those begging for us to vote remain... George Osborne predicted tax rises and spending cuts would be implemented. To date, no changes to the planned tax rates or public spending have been implemented. So, another lie, and thankfully after his sacking Osborne is no longer in a position create his 'punishment budget'. Despite Anna Soubry's claim to the contrary on a recent Question Time appearance, Remainers did suggest there would be an immediate Brexit recession. No recession to date, in fact the OECD now believes the UK economy will grow 1.8% this year, up 0.1% on its pre-referendum estimate. Even Mark Carney, the Governor of the Bank of England, now admits he is "quietly optimistic" about Brexit. Lie number four. 3 million people in the UK will lose their jobs was the fictitious figure banded about. However, in July the claimant count fell by 8,600 to 763,600, despite an expected rise of 9,500. Another lie. "A dangerous fantasy" is how Nick Clegg described Nigel Farage's claim of EU plans to create an army. Barely three months on from the Referendum, Juncker has proposed an EU Army. I'm looking forward to Nick Clegg's next apology video like the one he made after his last whopper. We were told companies would leave the UK in their droves, especially in the car industry. There is no sign of this, and UK car manufacturing achieving its 12th successive month of growth in July, with production passing one million units in seven months for the first time in 12 years. Lie number 7. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/matthew-ellery/leave-lies-remainers-need_b_12191462.html There are more
People like you are part of the problem. Going out for the day now back later keep it going. Might check in on the phone if I get chance.
That's why we had and won the vote, and if you don't like it you still have time to go live in Ireland,France etc.
