    Why not!!! It’s only an abbreviation for Pakistani, so saying Paki or Paki’s is not being derogatory to them, it’s identifying them I think.

    A few years ago my uncle, visiting from the UK, was surprised at our reporting of the cricket. It was a three way contest between the Aussies, the Pakis and the Windies. All perfectly normal for us, then,maybe not now. Why?

    According to a report in the guardian people of colour are more at risk from heatwaves due to them living in areas that would suffer more in extreme weather, so even "white privilege" extends to the currant bun in the sky targeting ethnic people over whitey..... Yet another reason to feel how lucky I am when even the cosmos is on my side, next time it's boiling I will not overdo my sunbathing and think of poor Mr khan suffering down the road
