Who says coalition governments don't get anything done? I think the Con-LibDem worked quite well in some aspects. The negative? The Lib-Dems not standing up against the increase in tuition fees, which cost them 50 seats in the 2015 election. In the elected assemblies of the UK there are coalition governments and in the Town and City Halls, there are many coalitions where parties work together. Your second point about giving rise to extreme parties. The old UKIP under Farage may have been quite right-wing. Under PR they could have got 60 seats which would have given people who supported them at the time, some repesentation. It may have been a healthier Parliament with a broader representation that the two-party system we have now, or should it be a one-party system as Labour's support judging by what happened in 2019 has shrunk massively?
I don't press the report button. Just proves my point. The mods get their knickers in a twist when the blacks or asians are had a go at. But not a word when it comes to old honkey here.
better a clown than Blair who did everything to be the next EU chief, and the scum bag wife Cherie who manage to get him to change British law so we could never send illegals back without 50 appeals and a cost of millions, we are still awash with rapists killers fraudsters and scumbags no other country allows it only us due to them two bastards
I blame the international breaks for all this muck slinging FIFA have got a lot to answer for Can you imagine what it will be like on here during the World Cup
I can't understand anyone who could even begin to support them given their personalities and provocations. Trump constantly belittling people, ripping up the Paris climate agreement, granting licenses to companies to mine in areas of environmental sensitivity, increased military spending at the expense of education. Johnson by stabbing Teresa May in the back when she had her Brexit deal, although both the Tories and Labout should share the blame for that. Let's continue with Johnson shall we? Going back on election promises such as the downgrading of HS2 and the Leeds-Manchester railway, raising taxes.
I’ve always wanted to know why we need HS2 please explain As far as Teresa May is concerned what a disappointment she was She left us with no option hence Boris got the job

Just going back to the banter thread……. Its now got to the stage where Michael Vaughn has had to get a bunch of witnesses to back him up and one of them is the actual first Pakistani player he had playing under him as captain. The player says everything thats come out has been total bollox and in fact “I had the best experience ever for south Asian player, I was helped with everything, the players were brilliant, the county sorted out all sorts of things and made me a better cricketer. Today the BBC are now going after a mate of mine. In another life Colin Graves was the owner of Costcutter Group, which had over a thousand convenience stores nationwide. I got to know Colin really well because he wanted my company to do a reverse takeover and swallow his company into ours. We spent a lot of time trying to do that deal which would have madeColin and us multi millions and at the same time made my company into a billion pound turnover business. It never happened because of pricks but ultimately Colin did sell elsewhere and because he loved Yorkshire cricket he bailed YCC out of the shyt and ended up as CEO/Chairman……. The county owe Colin a massive debt of gratitude for bailing yhem out and a massive debt in reality. When he stood down as CEO/Chair/President he made sure the county were safe by creating a board of trustees, its the trustees who are now being rubbished and Colin on a personal level. Cricket is being trashed by the woke BBC thanks to ghat cnut sports editor Dan Roan who has been called out for lying countless times because he creates headlines and the wider woke media who live the culture wars
What happened exactly ? I thought Muslims were religiously averse to eating pigs, not that they found pigs themselves offensive ? Are there any muslims on here that can clarify please ?
