I realise the title of this thread suggests anything goes but it doesn’t, it certainly excludes the acceptance of racial language.

There are non members hitting the complain button, it’s now seen the deletion of the Banter thread. Elland had closed it but it’s now been deleted by those above us due to too many complaints.

You can call Razeem Rafiq a liar if you wish, call him a ****, a prick or you can agree with him and say he is telling the truth and you feel for him but don’t throw in the racist terms.

We can’t defend racism, LeedsLover was sent packing without warning, we’ve been given a chance again to get the message out there

Mate I think the world has gone crazy, I think we’ve gone so far left it’s actually fuelling anger and hatred. I don’t doubt for a minute the cricketer heard some racial references but I think he’s milking every ounce and although he might have joined in taking it as dressing room banter at the time, now he’s pretending it was end of the world stuff.

When you try and force someone to change their opinion with force or punishment it’s going to face resistance. I totally disagree with the way racism is being handled, education is the key.

I’m sure if you sat a person guilty of throwing racial abuse down with a victim who explained how they feel it would do more good than hitting them with a fine that just creates more hatred.

I’d also hit all artists, ban the use of the N word from all future songs, let’s be honest, it’s mainly black artists who use the word but it sends out the wrong message to kids, they then feel it’s acceptable.

At the moment it’s all headless chicken stuff, nothing thought through.

Your ex-player Tino Best agrees with you saying "education" is the way to deal with racism. Education is the way forward in any society. The pity is that the quality of provision is so variable, with those at private schools having access to tremendous facilities, both academic and sporting. Do we ban private education as it has created an unequal society? Or, Johnson is going to have to act in the way he said he would by enactiing his levelling up. That would mean a real investment in state education and its facilities to put state schools on a par with the private schools thus enabling a youngster from a poorer part of the city a more equal chance of making the Olympic Rowing team with someone educated at Ampleforth for example.

Why are some people so incensed with what has been termed "wokism", and liberal values? What is it that has so angered some guys on here when it is the Conservatives who have been in power for over 10 years here in the UK and in many other countries around the world from Germany to Argentina, Brazil and Pakistan. As it is Conservatism that has been failing you, surely your anger needs to be directed towards Conservatives?

It's seems ok to let outsiders come on to our boards and verbally abuse posters(not that it bothers me) If people want to get all snowflake on here then ban every so called racist comment, including paddy, jock, mick, etc etc. Regarding LL, he asked to be banned in the end because BRB wasn't going to ban him straight away.
