Sequence of events : Rangers FC founded in 1872, Oldco created 1889, in Administration 2011, pending Liquidation 2012, Newco created 2012. 1} If the Newco inherits the punishments incurred under the Oldco, then the Newco also inherits the History of the Oldco - it is the same Club, just under new ownership. 2} If the Newco is considered as having no History, then it is recognised as a brand new Club and as such is not responsible for the misdeeds of the Oldco.
