    I do assert just that. I left Hull in 1970, I've visited 4 or 5 times a year since then and the place is quite clearly in better shape now than it was then. Yes it's been a struggle and yes it will continue to be one, but the overall direction is up. Since you state you've only seen The Deep on google I'm assuming you never visit Hull. In this case you really can't know what you're talking about. If you have visited and not been to the old town/Marina areas then more fool you.
