Or just to dumb to understand? Online shopping... Everything seems wrong.... I must have spent 4/5 hours this afternoon browsing for some new gear for the gaff. It's all either wrong size, wrong colour, sold out, delivered when ever the ****, overpriced etc.. I guess like the title says, i like to see things before i buy... And as for clothes, i've never even attempted that yet...I'd just be sending them back.. Am i the only one you likes to see things first, or if it's clothes, try them on?
I’ve mostly ordered my clothes online for a while now. I barely have to send anything back tbh. I wouldn’t buy anything online for decorating the house whether that be wallpaper or furniture. I’d definitely need to see those up close before buying anything like that.
Maybe clothes are different, shoes i'd be vary about, I've spent all all afternoon, and bought **** all yet..... Guess it's a trip to ****ing Ikea,,,something i was hoping to avoid.
Electronic things I'll usually look at different ones in the shop then go order it online. I've still not done an online supermarket order. Someone at work was telling me yesterday they ordered a face mask and in its place they put batteries. I can't be doing with that sort of **** tbh.
Don’t like buying clothes online...sizes are all over the shop electronics and such like are fine footwear is fine too...you’re only one size
I can honestly say, I've not stepped inside a retail outlet since March, and I've not stepped foot inside a supermarket for about 2 months. All the family do everything online now. It can be difficult to start with, but as you build up an internet shopping history with companies, it becomes easier. So say for example, I want a new t shirt, I'm not sure about the size, but I've bought from this company before....you can guess the rest it's not rocket science. Same with your food shop, everything is stored in history, so if you liked a particular food item, but you've chucked the packet away, then you just look in your past online orders. Oh btw, my bank has the hump with me, because I keep paying off my CC, fook em, tempted to go elsewhere, they start that shhite. I never ever buy anything unless I have the money, I only use the CC for security online.
I’ll buy anything on line. I don’t try **** on in shops anyway, unless it’s a suit, never have done. You just have to be careful with sizing for furniture and the like, and I always go looking for the reviews. On the rare occasion I order something and I don’t like it, or it doesn’t fit, it goes back, no drama.
Everyone is sitting on their cash, the economy is going to collapse....well it's already fooked but you know what I mean.
Oh, i have to at least try it on.. If i'm gonna spend 70 quid on a fred perry, i at least want to know it fits ok.....No hassle, no drama.
If the Government wanted to kindly donate us £500 each, I'd go out and spend it, but it would only be a temporary reprieve I'm not really sure, how they are going to get consumer confidence back.
I can't even get car finance.. despite having enough to buy the car i wanted, but not wanting to plough everything into it.. Anyway, off tomorrow, in monday/tues, and finally got a week off...So **** knows how that will go.
I bought a new pair of boots absolutely ages ago, bit like Doc Marten style, had them before, loved them. Not ever worn them I was looking at some more shoes the other day, I had to ask myself what the fook I'm doing. I bought a new piece of clothing months back, actually probably longer ago than that, designer label, can't remember what, in a sale for £80....never worn it! I'm buying shhite I don't need.
True story, we got a weeks bonus, for a thank you payment for working through lockdown...It was dependent on overtime etc. My payment was £587...and they taxed the **** out of it, i walked away with £399.. thanks for all my effort...****s.
You always buy the same size? I suppose the feel on your feet is important but I usually know what to expect from the type of footwear I am buying
I think I mentioned it the other week, but I’d bought literally nothing for months, apart from a birthday present and card for the Mrs - online. I’d literally not spent a bean, partly because I was stuck in the ****ing house, but it was odd for me, as I do 95% of my shopping online anyway. For whatever reason I’d just not thought about spending any dosh, on anything.
Buy predominantly online in the UK. I see no reason not to do it with almost everything there, next day delivery alone renders shops completely irrelevant to me. I have a pretty generic build too so, I have never found something to not fit. Here the state runs the postal service so next day delivery is a myth often talked about in hushed whispers but existence cannot be verified. And they don't even deliver to your door, you have to make your way to the post office and pick everything up. You also pay £35 extra for everything you import if it costs more than like £20. So, you're forced into overpriced **** Norwegian stores to buy low quality Swedish **** they sling over the border.
