I do think if we don’t beat Leeds Saturday Slot could be in trouble. Did we even create a proper chance after equalising. Seems we revert to pass sideways until we chuck it into the box and hope.

We seem very much stuck with what style of football we'd like to be playing.

Safe and controlled seems to be the order of the day, but that leads to us not looking like scoring, coupled with the panic at the back it's not a great combination.

On a positive note wirtz, ekitike, sboz and chiesa look like they are a unit that could take anybody on. Unfortunately only 1 possibly 2 of them are gaurenteed to start. Neither in the correct position.

I get the feeling slot is stuck, doesn't know whether to stick or twist and he's really struggling knowing what yo do to handle the "big names" in the squad.

He's in the **** come what may. 4 points from forest, West ham & Sunderland is a shocking return. A Leeds loss would just be putting the boot in. But a win won't cover up what's wrong.

Dire. And be honest, Virgil is every bit as bad as Konate now. This is like the last days of Ole at United, if not Rogers at Liverpool. Turgid, moribund ****e. A point stolen. :emoticon-0114-dull:

I missed the first half, but it must have been **** if Salah was being talked up after coming on, cause he looked rubbish. Didn't get a shot on target, crosses to the defence and couldn't beat his man.

He is done. Buy someone with pace and sell Salah whenever the Saudis bid.

First time we've gained points from a losing position this season. We didn't crumble.

    I can see some positives.

Yes a very disappointing result but we did not lose, there is a real lack of confidence in the team and the number of errors in defence is really worrying. Leeds beat Chelsea tonight and will be up for a dogfight at the weekend. All we can do is dig in and keep working at it, hopefully better times ahead

We are so dull to watch. What a waste of time holding onto Slot, is he unsackable?

Very slow in all areas tonight. Salah and VVD are past it on recent showings. Konate is a mistake waiting to happen in every game. Macca has been poor most of this season and dwells on the ball to much.

Top four will be a massive achievement this year

said very nicely. I’m not as polite.
    • team shape is not great
    • Fitness poor
    • Confidence low
    • Set pieces defending and attacking is weak
    • Movement is bad
    • Passing is sideways and backwards in an attempt to build slowly
I could go on but our team is passive at best. It’s like the identity that Klopp built has been completely trashed and the new identity makes your eyes bleed.

While Slot may not have chosen the new personnel (debatable as to what influence he had) and I completely accept a few bumps along the way (not this though) but he sure as **** controls all of the other bullet points above. They are ALL coaching related issues. Last year was very little change and a lot of muscle memory. This year we see his vision. I wish I couldn’t because it’s hard for it to be unseen <yikes>

I'm afraid i want him gone. I’ve seen enough to know that he’s not up to it. The real question though, is who would replace him. That’s a much harder question for me.

I think this needs to be said - really, from last New Year onwards, with the odd game excepted (Newcastle at home, and City away spring to mind), we just haven't played that well. "But we won the league!" And we did. But the energy seemed to seep out of the team long before they went on a bender with four games left of the season (which I don't begrudge them), and long, long before the Jota tragedy. Ekitike, Rio, Frimpong, and Kerkez seemed to give us a buzz in pre-season, but that fizz has well gone. And watching Wirtz on the break is like watching a confused parent doing an egg-and-spoon race. Macca seems to be playing in diving boots.
