Half the problem is that the team just isn't set up to get the best out of him because you have Gakpo and Salah both cutting inside more often than not. There's no Trent to cross the ball from the right. We do have Kerkez and Robertson willing to get to the by line but Gakpo tends to ignore them.
Shame only really started actually playing at 1-0 down when pushing for the win. Forward line poor all over again. Midfield no real penetration and defence still has 2 or 3 brain farts in it during the game.
Positive note... We didn't just crumble after conceding; we fought, got back into it and really pushed for that winner
I applaud your positivity. Slot has us playing the most boring football that I’ve watched us play in an age. Painful.
God i hate watching the end of games when we are chasing the game these days as there is no plan but throw everybody and everything forwards don't bother with precision or an actual passing move .
It's too slow. I swear we weren't this slow to attack last season. Should do what Real do and sack him for his boring style of play.
I've been a bit horrified at Slots lack of tactical craft this season... 2nd season seems to be a tad soon to be running out of ideas....
