Just got back from 6 hours without communication and .. .. .. Am I sorry to see him go ...... ....... NO is the honest answer Am I glad he was a Bristol City Manager .. .. YES, EVENTUALLY ALMOST 100% when he got us promoted and to Wembly. Was I ever 100% behind him .. .. .. .. NO but he did get close before the start of our 4th game. What was his main failing? .. .. .. .. his inability to adapt to the fluidity that is required to be a good manager, take risks and not dwell on past results has done it many times before... His attitude ... ... ... I think, this season, it was one of negativity, insecurity and a fear of failure, disguised under a veil of " it is not my fault I have a successful plan and it will work" smokescreening by saying the players are doing all it takes, but it is not their fault, we outplay everybody but have no luck.. in reality we don't outplay everybody, they just let us do all the work and when we get tired they strike.... bad play management 3-5-2 = wrong division NEXT MANAGER? Junior ...only joking
Having made this move SL had to act quickly for a new manager and fully back him with the finances to get us out of this mess, if not why sack SC?
I believe that it either, was a kneejerk reaction to something that happened off the pitch or that we've got a replacement.
