My son is City through and through - despite living most of his life up here in Swindon. Whilst pleased about this I am also slightly surprised, seeing as I have not forced him. By my own code of honour, I always think that you should support your 'local' club, which was Bristol City until 1997 when we moved, so if he had chosen to support Swindon I would not have complained - considering he was only 4 at the time (although I would have been quietly disappointed). No - my biggest disappointments are my girls - my eldest (24) only likes David Beckham - and that's it! But my youngest (19) is even worse - I asked her today if she knew any City player, to which she replied 'yes, he is tall and blonde'. Impressed and astonished I asked her if she knew his name, expecting her to name Stead. 'Peter Crouch' she answered. FFS. I have really gone wrong somewhere.
Woman don't know much about football. Usually if they know more then you about the beautiful game. They are neither beautiful and are indeed a fanny cannibal
I'm surprised that Social Services were not informed about your inability to bring your daughters up properly. Obviously something lacking in their education or else you did not chastise them enough at their total lack of knowledge of all things Bristol City.
It took me a while to decode this one Shiny - that's how innocent I am! I would dispute this though - that dark haired woman on Sky Sports News during the day is the perfect woman - talks football all day and looks like a dream - my fantasy anyway!!
My son embarrasses me sometimes tho' - especially when he tries to take the piss out of Swindon fans - considering our respective current forms! At least he lives in Wycombe now so I am only embarrassed when he is home to visit!
And the girls wouldn't even know who the 'gas' are. If you said 'rovers' to them they would probably think you meant the 1983 Rover SD1 2.6SE we had when we lived in Bishopsworth.
I don't know if I should mention this after Shiny's description of girls and football. But my 13 daughter loves city and goes to most home games (she only dont go if she has some party)and some away games. But my 2 older boys don't like it at all, she says they are gay
