He wants to blunt Brighton before bringing Davies on

I reckon Davies wasnt fit for 3 in a week.
SOD hinted as much when he talked about keeping an unchanged side.
"If the medical men advise otherwise".
I imagine he will be back on Saturday

Sorry he was ineffective, Did what he did well but Brighton were there for the taking, Had davies been on then I think we might of got something. I don't rate skuse, Not one bit just like others don't rate Elliott. Kelly and Elliott are head and shoulders above cole and they were doing a great job without him winning 4 games on the trot at home. Davies and stead deserved to be upfront together. SOD said it was tactical reasons not because he wasn't fit. Oh well, Quite happy with the point as I had us down to lose on my BBC predictor. Now on to Middlesbrough :D

If you heard the interview with SoD after the game, he said that the players said they needed to pack the midfield and Davies agreed with the decision and effectively took himself out of the game for the good of the team.

Which is what we are now, A TEAM...

Looks like the collective ala GJ is back, but with better players this time.

Shiny, Cole was excellent as were they all.

The commentators seemed to think Skuse did well.

Yeah im not saying he played ****. We managed to keep a better team in Watford quiet with Elliott and Kelly. Had he played Baldock or Davies we would of nicked it

Didn't Skuse play against Watford??? He went off injured and 50p head came on.

Don't go on about Skuse just because we all slate your **** boy <whistle>

I'm sure sitting in the Eastend you don't get a good view of the game? Skuse plays mainly in the centre of the field Shiny tonight he done a good job of tidying up the play and SoD gave him good reviews in the commentary after.

Yeah he played for about 20 minutes. Yes I get a good view rod. Just because I sit behind the goal doesn't mean I cant see whats happening, I see it all very well. Now ive said Skuse played well but I would of rather we played Davies over him like we have been doing.
