I was being flippant mate,Rio has caused mayhem in the England camp with twitter comments based on his view that his omission is racially motivated.

Danny says something in jest to his mate.

No prizes for guessing which one will be punished.

Without sounding too I guess lax on the subject, but is it really that big of a deal over there or is it the media going nuts? The shti I have seen from the balkan countries, Russia, Ukraine etc is miles and miles worse than anythign I have seen in the prem, if anything really at all!

Will be interesting as they tied themselves in knots last time with perceived insult & complaint versus word being used at all.

This would be the fourth time Pacheo has tweeted this word since the Suarez affair. Twice in defense of Suarez saying nothing wrong with it once to one of his compatriots in convo & now this. You would assume that Glen isn't going to complain sooooo what DO the FA do???

I agree, having to look at Phil Jones every day <yikes> is punishment enough.

didn't hear anything about this but the law is clear that he can be taken to court like john terry... if the tweet has not direct FA involvement then they can't do anyhting.

precedent? babel tweets a pic of webb in a manc shirt, thats accusing a ref of cheating right after a game. not a precedent..... barto ntweets he deliberately assualted aguero, can be used... not a precedent for pacheco either.

if someone complains to the law then he can be arrested from it.... then he can go to court and have the case thrown out as its racially abusive to take a spainard saying what they say and apply british law to it. now that would be interesting.

    anyway... who cares?

To be fair the fact hes saying good luck in english and then using the negrito word would give the FA a really easy excuse to do something.

Stupid really and the fact its ok in south america ( the 3rd world ffs ) doesnt make it ok in Britain. Some really horrible stuff is acceptable in the 3rd world but you would do years in prison over here.

Is Pacheco in Britain right now? Is Johnson? Emm...

Also, this is online. Search negrito and similar terms on twitter and you'll find lots and lots of UK citizens using them. Throw them all in jail eh?

Lot of people do lots of things that are wrong because their out of touch country doesnt care but does that make it ok. Ugandans chasing gay men down and killing them, if they did it over here or were to insight it online would that be ok? Would it ****.

Child porn is online, is that ok?

Are you of the opinion that being online and behind a screen makes everything ok?

Sorry to use extreme examples but a Liverpool player after last season should know better. He will be lucky if hes not crucified.

My guess is to defuse any potential fall out the club will punish him so the FA dont get involved and nor do the police. All it takes is a complaint to twitter and it goes off.

Negrito is a horrible word aswell and used in countries where racism is accpeted as the norm. Spanish speaking countries tend to dislike black people on the whole or see them differently in many cases....especially in the home of spanish speakers....spain.

On face value it's a silly thing to do. However, it's 2 mates communicating together - albeit via public media. If Johnson does not complain then I can't see the basis for any legal or FA action.

Just for UIR's info, the term is also widely used in a non-abusive way in both Spain and Portugal.
