    I echo these comments.

Personally I only hate the idiots that are 'F'ing and blinding about thinking that they're all that.
Those people are not real fans!

Agreed, there's a wider debate too about the influence foreign owners can have on OUR game - relegation from the Prem etc etc

I was speaking through hindsight. Of course nobody turns to questionable sources deliberately but it is a point of undeniable fact that Portsmouth Football Club did come under the control of men of dubious moral and financial means.

I also hope Pompey Survive this. We were sooooooooooooooooooooo lucky to Get Markus. We nearly ended up with that lot that bought Coventry and the fans don't have a good word to say about them.We need Pompey we need the rivalry.

We've got Reading and Brighton now. Saturday's game was quite tasty and the joy of winning was nearly as good as defeating Pompey.

On a serious note you often need a catalyst to change things and should a good to decent sized club go under due to the ineptitude of the administrator, dodgy owners, incompetence of the PL/FL or incompetent finacial management then things will change and the whole fiasco that has become football in the UK may be sorted for the better.

Pompey are trying really hard to be that club and we should thank them for selfless sacrifice.

They have been clawing onto survival for as long as I can remember and the club has been very badly managed by a succession of owners with most importantly a lack of investment in it's infrastructure being it's biggest problem. What do you buy as an investor when you buy Pompey? I would suggest a vehicle to launder money and nothing else.

If it disappeared PFC would soon be forgotten just like British Leyland, The National Coal Board, Rover Group, etc..

On a very serious note it would appear the many investors and savers in Latvia and Lithuania are not likely to see their savings again.

Also if this story develops and leads to financial problems for the club there could be issues over the payments agreed under the CVA.

That would be a bigger disaster for Pompey than a dodgy Russian owner!

Pompey thought they could trust a Banker. We learned you couldn't and you would have thought they would have learned a lesson from what happened to us.

Strewth guys you don't half attract the riff raff do you not? With all you have had to put up with now this......It is no better than and east enders plot. I am sure you will be ok. Although at a guess I think your transfer kitty might be a bit thin for a while. Either way as long as you the football club survive that is the main thing although in truth you could do without this!!

Unlucky guys. The South Coast football club soap opera continues. Hopefully this saga will end one day and we'll both have well run clubs instead of one or the other.

well, the club statement that it " was business as usual" for Portsmouth FC was quite literally true then!

I seriously feel for all of the Pompey fans, that this circus of an ownership saga continues. I wonder if Antonov will try and hide in the crowd on Saturday? Should be relatively easy to spot - fur hat and bulging pockets!

This Antonov case might not have anything to do with the club.

PFC nights have savings elsewhere <ok> <doh>

    Pompey will probs be fine...

Ah but under the FAPP test, they do. That's the point. Despite this, we've (we being football fans in general) had someone who ran Leeds into the ground go on to do the same at Cardiff*, Man City purchased with Phillipino tax-payers cash*, Plymouth purchased by speculators*, Notts county purchased by a fraudster*, Pompey purchased by a gun-runner* and now this! It's a disgrace and bent as a nine bob note. Someone in the PL/FL/FA is dealing under the table.

    *Allegedly
