Funny thing is, if the Lino had called it we'd be talking a hard earned point and feeling positive for next week. Now it's toss yourself off beachy head time. (not toss yourself off AT beachy head, that's just odd)

I'd like to think that I'd still have been very critical of Hughes's team/formation selection even if we had of held on mate.

I suppose you could toss yourself off before you toss yourself off Beachy Head...

Dont even begin to understand that statement....If a player is off the pitch (any player) he is effectivly playing no part in the game.

Yes he COULD get booked but he will have no effect on what happens on the pitch until he steps back on..Thats what the white lines are for !!

In effect, a player who is on holiday has an effect on the game then...? WTF !

Why should they? We had a great player who kept them out - Cesar.

I don't fancy this statements at all. It's like saying Barcelona should have lost if there weren't Messi who scored hat trick. Keeper is a member of a squad just like attackers or midfield.

The goal was offside. No question.

Mbia was red - no question.

Granero and Mackie between them, one of them should have scored. No question.

Don't blame what you can't change. There will always be crap decisions.

Blame what you can change. Indiscipline and players who bottled their half decent chances.

On a more positive note, nice to see the Taarabt / Granero magic is still developing.

He's agreeing with you El. That's the point they didn't deserve 3-0 because Cesar kept them out and he's a player like anyone else. You're on the same wavelength!

Taarabt Granero partnership is only thing that is evolving sadly. Granero made some good runs yesterday, it's a shame he didn't get picked up but when he did he missed the chance. I would give him AMF role and more freedom up the field.
