WELL THIS IS A SURPRISE I DID NOT SEE COMING. It's interesting that they've spun it as two seasons when all the reports are a one-year deal with an option - which, incidentally, was basically what Massa ended up on near the end of his time at Ferrari, a rolling contract. Lastly, fair play to Ferrari if they can continue to tolerate Alonso
No-one can say this hasn't been a worthwhile silly season. This is what people have been waiting for for ages with the top 5 teams having all changed their line-ups in the last two years rather than just being static. And with all the build-up and tension, it's been pretty fun. And it's not over yet, still need someone to replace Kimi! Very happy to see this partnership, mainly because it's the first time in ages Ferrari have fielded two WDC's and it should be a great battle!
Well this a surprise, I was expecting a Ide-Montagny partnership at Ferrari. Oh well, I suppose Kimi-Alonso will do, Alonso's first competitive team mate since 2007, can't wait to see what happens this time round
Hmmmm.... It's also the first time since the 1950's that Ferrari has run two world champions together in the same team
Lol, like Kimi would have been bursting with excitement to announce his return, I also can't imagine him saying 'I can’t wait to be driving a Prancing Horse car again'. Cannot wait for this though there will be fireworks between these two.
Why do I get the feeling Raikkonen's welcome interview is going to be like this? Q: So what made you want to drive for Ferrari? A: They had a faster car than Lotus. Q: How are you looking forward to driving with Fernando? A: I don't care. He keep himself to himself and I drive. Q: Are you worried about team orders? A: No.
