Official: Ethic Cleansing

To wails of despair, Jack Warner, the vice president of FIFA has announced his resignation.

In doing so, he's proved to the world that FIFA is entirely clean of corruption, scandal and improper behaviour.

After 30 years of hard work, Warner is now able to relax and the onerous task of 'looking after brown envelopes' has been passed onto a new generation.

On leaving, a FIFA spokesperson paid thanks to Warner for his '30 years of services to Caribbean, Concacaf and improved International banking.'

 

"As a consequence of Mr Warner's resignation, all ethics committee procedures against him have been closed and the presumption of innocence is maintained," said a Fifa statement.

Brilliant .. wish I could stab my boss and then resign, my presumed integrity and innocence fully maintained .. (not quite the same I'll grant .. but had to give it some impact)

 

You couldn't make it up, talk about brushing things under the carpet. It's not as if he's going out with a bang and dishing the dirt about all the shennanigans going on, he was after all claiming to "know things". Anyway I'm not sure what bothers me most, Warner getting away scot free, or that he's been silenced, perhaps by another "bung". The plot thickens.

 

One person couldn't have got away with anything on his own.
