On the front page of this site there are 23 threads, three are stickies, seven are about City/Football and 13 are currently off-topic. Can we please try and keep the place a little more tidy, if someone just wants to post every news story, at least keep them all in one thread, if you want to post a joke directed at an individual poster try and find an existing thread to post it on, these things really don't warrant a thread of their own, many are generating barely any comments and are to the detriment of the board as a whole. This is primarily a City message board, not Facebook, let's try and keep it that way. Ta.
I'm off to Malaga on Thursday. Someone's got to do the match thread for Palace. Dont let that **** Patty do it. He's a jinx.
Do it before you go ya feckless twat. Not like theres owt else going on around the club for us to talk about ffs.
Oh there'll be lots of threads about the pies/programmes/kit at ********** are only 99p and ours are $$$$ and therefore the Allams are ****s.
Stop being an arse then and just do the match thread early. Its not like you have a lot else to contribute around here.
I wouldn't mind a general RIP sticky for all those dearly departed who we have mostly never heard of.
I have only been to Malaga once Chazz, spent a happy couple of hours in the Casa De La Gaurdia (or something like that) tapas bar in the town. It's the oldest one. Really basic. I have just realised my off topic, off topic post has gone off topic,,damn!
We needed a Speculation Thread, where someone can start by telling everyone he knows nowt about something and can then speculative about it, on page after page, with someone else who claims to know, but after some time say's, sorry, but I got that one wrong. It could have the running title of 'Speculation Inn'; is there one near you?
Or a "chip on the shoulder" thread just for posters who drone on and on trying to prove that other posters are either wrong or know nowt. I have no idea who would contribute to it though.
That's not a bad shout, CI have a monthly thread with all the departed that month kept together, are most in favour of doing something similar?
Personally I prefer it as it is. With a sticky I'd never bother looking to see if the new posts were talking about a new death or an old one
