thought this would form a debate or an argument. Note the words It's not a charity Payed for by mainly tax payers. Well correct me if I'm wrong but the majority of people who use the nhs are non Tax payers.they say I have a right to use the nhs.
Are they? Think that needs more definition, I think incapacitated and elderly don't fit the category as in most cases they've paid task most of in the case of the elderly have paid tax their whole working life. In fact the standard of care of the non tax paying elderly is disgusting and they deserve a better standard considering they've paid into the system their entire lives. The NHS fails most in that area and it's very sad that such high part of their budget is palmed off to councils who are forced to cut their care to the bones. Just my opinion like.

It still exists in principle. You will be told to go home and pay £8.10 for paracetamol when you turn up with a broken leg. You will queue for a nurse for 7 months whilst they all go and help cure ebola in another country. You will get a doctors appointment a week after you need it. You will get misdiagnosed and die of aids. Your neighbour will get rhinoplasty because she's got a huge conker of a beak but your alzheimers gran will get shafted for her entire life savings and property to pay for her ****ty 3* care home to die in. You can park outside for free if you want to see an ill relative (* £5.50 per hour, £2000 clamping fee if you do not display your ticket properly) You will catch SARS and die if you walk within a thousand yards of A&E You will be able to have your baby in a ward full of sick old dying people and hopefully we won't mix it up with another child, or accidentally drop the kid on it's face.
I saw an interview recently where the late Great Sir Henry Cooper was asked why he didn't fight very often and he said that he could earn more money at the fish market than boxing. He paid 16/4 pence tax out of every pound he earned and had to pay his trainer and expenses out of what he got. The great second fight with Ali he said he got 80,000 pounds but after tax he got 14,000. I also remember 'super tax' in the 60's (maybe it still applies) where, after you reached a certain amount, you then paid 25 bob for every quid you earned. No wonder the likes of Sir Noel Coward and the likes cleared off to Jamaica. Your Mr Cameron wakes up every morning, yawns, and then says "Now, who shall I sh it on today"! People are starting to wake up in England to the fact they are coming last to everything and everybody and it has to stop soon. Yes, I miss 'The Old Dart" and the old "Way of Life" but have no regrets in leaving 50 years ago. Crying bloody shame what the pollies have done to the once Great Nation that was Great Britain.
It was only after a huge amount of earnings (I forget how much at the time) but I remember the owner of the Company I worked for at that time asking the Company Secretary how the hell he could pay more tax than he earned and he explained the 'super-tax' to him to which the boss replied that he wanted his 'fee' reduced to that where the 'super-tax' didn't kick in and the rest he wanted in 'expenses'. There's always a way isn't there.
Bloody accountants! I remember loads of musicians buggering off in the 70's because they were paying 95p in the £1:00 tax
