So with Bellamy not starting at the Den tomorrow night - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19627221

The impact he made of the bench was clear to see against Leeds, though I don't think he should have replaced Noone (perhaps not entirely settled), is this the future Craig has with the club? A deadly impact player.

Not a bad guy to have sitting on the bench

I think he'll start plenty of matches but, assuming the calf story was true, we don't need to rush him back. As you say what an impact sub though.

We've played well last 2 so I think MM might stick to the same starting 11 but I can't help but feel a couple of fresh legs might help us win the inevitable battle first half.

Unsurprised by this, good management of him if he is happy to do this. We knew already that he won't play all games so to have him on the bench is a bonus if we can.

Bit unfair with the commnets. He has had an injury, and MM doesn't want to ruch him back. Clearly, he will start when/if fully fit. As for Kimbo - where does he fit? Surely there's a place for him.
As for Velikonja, where does he fit? ... - on a plane back home?? Clearly the staff must think he is not good enough at this level, but he must be very unhappy that he can't even get a place on the bench. His only chance is to trip Helgusson up in the shower.

I said on another thread, we don't NEED to play Bellamy every game as we have quality cover in most positions. Another 20 mins tomorrow and 60-70 on Saturday. He'll never play 90 mins Sat, Tues, Sat. Good management by MM.

    Nice option to have though!!

I think we all said a while back that this whippersnapper Bellamy would have to prove himself at our illustrious club. I suppose that goal against Leeds was an alrightish start.

When the opposition see Bellers warming up to come on, it must put the fear of god into their defenders, which was noticeable against Leeds, he is simply the best in this league by a long chalk and will rip many many defences in the championship wide open. Cant wait for tonights Entertainment.

I think the opposite may also be true. After 70 minutes they see Bellamy going of and think 'thank god for that', take a deep breath and relax, only to get skinned by Noone!

You wouldn't want to be a left back in this league :p

Its nice to have the luxury of 2 wingers as fast as Noone and Bellers. By the way, we havent won at Millwall for 30 years, so long overdue to beat that hoodooo.

I'm predicting we end that hoodoo in style tonight. I've got us down for a 4-0 win. Just hoping I haven't jinxed things!

Yes, the Lions won't lay down without a fight and their backsides must be sore after Jackett stuck his boot up them after last weekend. Not a night for the faint hearted methinks.
