    Been a few years since I was last in there. My sister used to drink there and told me that it had shut down at one time, due to all the trouble and drug problems. Am I right, or am I thinking of somewhere else?

    Lived in Peterlee from around 1969 to around 83

    Good memory there Syd. Hearts of Oak is right. You've only missed The Argus Butterfly (probably Dorsets local) The Labour club and the Royal Arms out. And the George. You're a bit of a nomad mate. I'd heard the rumours that you'd been around a bit.........
