Who's made the biggest tit of themselves today.

    1) Peter Odemwingie - for turning up at QPR today with no bid accepted only to find WBA played hard ball with him.

    2) DJ Campbell - for managing to balls up moves to Ipswich, Palace, and Hull to go for the money at Blackburn, only for (according to the BBC) the deal to fall through at the last minute due to paperwork. <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

Definitely 2. I hope DJ sits in QPR's reserves and regrets his decision every day.

    2.
But the positive out of all this is that SB & the Allams didn't fall for the mercenary Campbell's demands....no panic buying is a sign of good management imo.

    Odemwingie by a mile.

I expected DJ to try and scrounge every last penny from whichever team was trying to sign him. They've both acted like ****s today, but I only expected DJ to.

Ha, that reminds me of my ex missus. She was a ballerina and wore one of them in something called "The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy"...I can still see those elephants in ridiculous costumes. Might have been something I smoked mind.

It's not the way they've both acted that makes them tits though, it's the fact they both acted like that and managed to cock it up so they're still at their old clubs.

Yeah I know, just that I expected it from DJ. It's nothing new with him wanting to get as much money as he can.

D.J. should really be sacking his agent after this.

He should also be taking a long hard look at his own priorities.

    Football or money?

He has seriously damaged himself this window. Proven himself not to be a hungry footballer anymore. Just wanting the cash.

If he'd made a footballing decision he'd be pulling on a shirt on Saturday with a decent chance of playing premiership football next season.

By chasing the money, he's shown a lack of professional ambition and to be motivated by cash alone.

We dodged another Bullard with this one I think.

It's not like he even took the second choice from a footballing point of view. If I were a striker I'd be looking at us and thinking I could become a legend by coming into this team and being able to kick the round white thing through the sticks and into the big netty thing once in a while. If I were DJC I'd be torn between that, and repaying Holloway for giving me the opportunity at Blackpool to get in the position I was now in, and on balance I think I'd have opted for Palace if I'd been him. The Holloway connection, and the not having to relocate myself versus the slightly better chance of personal glory through my team getting promoted (Palace already having a reasonable strike force meaning it would be less attributed to me).

Id have opted to go to us. As Satan said in Paradise Lost "it is better to reign in hell than serve in heaven". Better to join us and be a legend, get the personal glory than be one of a crowd at Palace.

I'm gobsmacked at home many people are slagging DJ off for going for the bigger pay cheque. If I was offered a job at Sainsburys on 15k a year, or Aldi for 25k a year, I know where I would go.

I'm still happy it all went Pete Tong for him though.

    Shurrup you fanny.

He did, they should punish him by sending him out on loan in the Championship, to us.

Agreed with ^^^^^ this. Without question the answer is No.2

He wont even get that. By all accounts his antics have not gone down very well @ DQPR today.
Harry not impressed at all as they are now stuck with him. It would be even funnier if Blackburn looked elsewhere.
