VERY hit and miss, but if he learns to use his natural talent, we'll have a hell of a player on our hands.

He's like a less defensive Jonas of last season. Poor crossing, but with some work he'll become brilliant, like Jonas this season.

Never had an issue with Ober, think he tries hard (all you can ask) and has great potential to develop into a great player if he tracked back as much as Jonas (he IS lazy in this aspect) he would be a fan favourite.

Lol. I thought that they would be playing a slow centre back at left back and they did so I thought Obertan would skin them and he did :D haha

Has been very hit and miss this season, reserving judgement for a while though.

All I want for him is to get that 'killer instinct' and take someone on for once

I was at the game and tonight was his best game for us by far. He was a constant outlet for us and it stopped Stoke putting all their defenders in the box as three constantly had to drop back to defend Ober, who still burned the lot of them for pace, they kept panicking and booting the ball out of play whenever Ober got into their half, great counter attacking!

Glad to see he's been overall positive since his move.

Probably one of the best dribblers we had at United, certainly had the talent, love watching his assist for Owen's 2nd against Wolfsburg.

Hopefully the game time will kickstart his (re)development.

He's upping his game, definitely. If only he played like that every week! Still, he only cost what, 3 mil? Nothing really is it, and I'd say he's better than Routledge.

I wonder how good Obertan would be in the Championship? Considering Routledge could tear it up down there...

Quite well I assume, he'd get past defences a lot better, and would probably score a few more. Hopefully we'll never have to find out though <whistle>

Wish he scored last night, was so close.
