http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27484318 What a shame.Poor old Yaya only got a cake from MCFC for his birthday. Now Delia, roll up those sleeves and get baking,I am sure you could get Yaya down here with your macaroons.
There must be something else going on there for this level of outburst, must have been and ongoing feeling of lack of respect.
He just tweeted this 'Jokes aside. Please do not take words that do not come out of MY mouth seriously. Judge my commitment to @MCFC by my performances.' So I don't think there's anything going on tbh.
He wanted real cream he got butter cream.....whats not to paddy over when something of that magnitude goe's wrong?
He's now backing his agent. Just because he didn't get a Bugatti like Roberto Carlos... It really is pathetic, but I believe Toure has form for throwing toys out of the pram.
Just shows how far out of touch he is from reality. Even if he felt genuinely slighted what with only earning 250k a week and then not getting a Bugatti from his employer why allow your agent to go public with it. How much sympathy does he think he will get from the man city fans let alone the rest of us. It seems so strange given the amount of charity work he and his brother do back home.
Overpaid, over-rated and over-reached this time, expect he will be shown the door. No player is bigger than the club. Besides Kompany, Aguero and Silva are more important to Man City. If they had any sense they would go for De Rossi - class! If he wants to celebrate his birthday, go back to Ivory Coast and I'm sure they would put on quite a party for one of their favourite players but to demand respect you have to earn respect (starting by not throwing the toys out of the pram on a regular basis)
Whilst I completely agree with how pathetic this story is, and how Toure should be ashamed of himself if it really is true, I have to disagree with your assessment of his importance as to me he was the best player in the league last season, hands down. I'm not just talking Man City players either, if it was up to me he would have won player of the year and not Suarez because he turned up and put in big performances in all the massive games, unlike the mercurial Uruguayan who did his most significant damage in games against teams outside the top four.
Brilliant player but if only 10% of this is true what a self centred, overpaid, pompous, conceited, pretentious tosser!!! In the same week that a young lad, dying of cancer, uses all his remaining life and energy to raise £3m for charity we get this crap - somebody paid £250k a week throws his toys out of the pram because his boss doesn't buy him a birthday cake. At the first away game next year the Home Club ought to hand out to every home fan a packet of custard pies. Every time this excuse for a man comes near the touchline - ' want a cake - cop hold of this one '
He might be a prick but he's definitely not overrated, he's easily one of the best players in the world.
Well football fans have a great sense of humour and I guarantee that every game Citeh play away from home next year the home support will break into a chorus of "Happy Birthday Dear Ya Ya "
