Can anyone help me remove a toolbar which has been installed on my browser page?

To be honest, I must have missed an 'uncheck' somewhere....

Looks like I might have to down load an uninstaller, but does anyone know a safe one? (I don't want to download an infection!).

If Your using firefox you can disable the tool bar in the add ons! Does the tool bar show up on your programs list for removal, in the control panel? If so just un-install it there!

It's not there. I've already looked. I even unistalled the prog it came with, but that didn't touch it.

I don't actually have any toolbars installed, so I'm not 100% sure this will work as my "Extensions" are empty, but try clicking the wrench in the top right corner, then Tools > Extensions, and see if you can remove it there.

    Gotcha! Cheers, J-D! <ok>

(I had had a look in Tools, but didn't try Extensions).

Providing you know what you are doing that is, I have friends who have used it and claim it is over aggressive.

My recommendation would be Glary Utils http://www.glarysoft.com/
    Or Advanced System Care 5 - http://www.iobit.com/ascdownload-promo.php
Both are free and have restore functions in case you screw it up, they both have loads of stuff that they do too.

    There's also this: http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Its an uninstaller, the pro version costs but there is a freebie version, but careful how you use it.

It didn't actually say that it was successfully accomplished, despite the thumb up, but I take your point, ;)
