Hi Everyone, I'm looking for a keyboard and a bass player to join a band. We're changing our style and going down more of a pop route. We're looking to become a professional function band playing music from the 50s till now. If anyone is interested or knows anyone who might be interested, please send me a message. We've got gigs lined up already but need to complete the lineup. Thanks
We're looking for a singer but we won't go looking for gigs until we've got one and he knows all the songs. How can you get gigs without a full band ? Is it who you know not what you can do ?
Hi Proevotiger, I had the same thought as Piano Man! What sort of stuff are you doing? What's the line up going to be?? What sort of gigs are lined up??? (pubs, functions etc?)
The gigs are lined up as I've had the dates for a while or the contacts waiting for me to get in touch. My band had a set back in June when I got run over by a car on holiday in Spain. Since then the bass player had a great offer he couldn't turn down. So I was trying to replace him to get things going again. Since my post the other day though I've spoken to the other guitarist who I also play in an acoustic duo with, we've decided to concentrate more on the duo. I still wanna play in a band though so if you do know anyone who needs either a singer or Rythym guitarist I'm available. I love a wide range of music but would prefer to do pop/indie spanning the last 60 years.
Well we're looking for a singer / occasional guitarist. Not sure if we're what you'd want though. Folk / pop rock / prog rock fusion - all original stuff. Oh and the youngest of us is 55 !
I don't really care about age of people. More if we're suited. If you fancy meeting up and having a jam and seeing what you guys think I'd be more than happy to
Sorry pal. I missed the original part in your message. Is it something you guys are doing for fun or to work as an original act
