I've just started back at the gym and am looking to refresh my playlist, so has anyone got any good suggestions? I'll listen to pretty much anything!
This has got to get you motivated...
Anything by arctic monkeys, linkin park, green day, tinie tempah, the beatles, queen, meatloaf and red hot chilli peppars
You really should not have said half of them on here. (Not based on my taste, based on the boards' general consensus)
Probably not, but most of those are on my gym playlist. Along with a few from Frank Sinatra, Phil Collins and a couple of mcr
Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now The Stone Roses - Elephant Stone The Clash - London Calling The Jam - Town Called Malice Doves - Black and White Town Doves - Pounding Stiff Little Fingers - Nobody's Hero The Prodigy - Stand Up (or Manfred Mann's 'One Way Glass') Pixies - Debaser The Naked and Famous - Punching In A Dream The Naked and Famous - Young Blood Led Zeppelin - Communication Breakdown The Rolling Stones - Get Off Of My Cloud MGMT - Kids The Only Ones - Another Girl, Another Planet The Stranglers - Something Better Change The Stranglers - No More Heroes Primal Scream - Rocks Primal Scream - Swastika Eyes Primal Scream - Country Girl The Supernaturals - Smile Brian Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets Sonny J - Can't Stop Moving The Caesars - Jerk It Out Sex Pistols - God Save The Queens
Is it just me that needs serious beats for a workout? I know someone who listens to a bit of Buble when he's running takes all sorts I guess. A few others on my playlist are: Slam - Pendulum Reptile's Theme - Skrillex How We Do - Hardwell Spaceman - Hardwell Clash - Alesso Omen - Prodigy Glad You Came - Timeflies Then standard stuff like "Stronger", "Club Foot", & "Anthem for the Underdog".
Got to be something up-tempo. It's not just some pseudo-science on my part, faster music really does give you a boost when you need to push it at the gym, both cardio and weights. Achieve your goals Gooch!
maybe jog fm might help - you can select ur Genre and it will group your music by the BPM you ask for , maybe better for joggers i dunno how about a bit of Mogwai ?
War of the Worlds originally on CD, stirring stuff and you can pretend you're legging it from the Aliens for that extra boost!
Which gym.You may find that the background music drowns yours anyway. You don't need music .Just do it
I used to train every night with a bloke from the Royal Navy Display Team when he was on leave and he just had Eye Of The Tiger running continuously on a tape. The fact that it was on a tape tells you how long ago it was.
When I'm out running I tend to listen to the best of the Prodigy album, the best of Chemical Brothers, basement jaxx, and any old dance albums for the tempo. If you're doing weights, something like Salt n Pepa Push It?
