Totally plausible, makes me just sick to think of the poor little girl. Hope her pain is over. I really struggle to believe that the dogs found traces of blood in the car, because as you say it would surely more would have been made of it. The tabloids are not to be trusted. I have no idea why they went to sky news (it was actually a family member, not them) but I suppose they were thinking of getting everyone aware as quick as possible before she was snuck out the country. I know they were advised against it but we all make rash decisions where family are concerned.
If innocent of killing the child, the parents have made a horrific error that will haunt them every day till the day they die. There can be no justice for the little girl, nothing can make up for what has/ may have happened to her.

there are 3 possible scenarios as far as i'm concerned 1) she accidentally died during the unsupervised night and the mccanns tried to hide it 2) she was abducted (although i dont believe it) 3) the mccanns were offered an obscene amount of money to sell their daughter to some rich unable to have children couple/person and concocted this whole mystery to get rich very quick, and they know fine well she is safe and sound being brought up very well and believes her parents died in a car crash and she has been adopted
Negligence is a crime in this and many other countries. If the negligence had been a Mr and Mrs Smith from Sunderland who live in a rundown area of Hendon. Mrs Smith a cleaner and her husband a labourer were out with friends getting drunk. They left their THREE children under FOUR alone and didn't want to pay the few pounds to use the babysitting service that was available. Do you think the media response would have been the same? Or would they have been ambushing people in Hendon to get some more detrimental quotes to castigate them. The McCanns are getting special treatment from out own authorities as they are such upstanding pillars of the community! It stinks to high heaven. You say they have suffered enough! No they haven't, no matter how it happened their negligence led to this sad state of affairs and they should be held accountable for it.

Not the third one, no way. I can totally see why you'd say that. I just think the parents will suffer beyond comprehension every day. i suppose, if they are innocent and were sent to prison for negligence, then they probably would be too resigned to care anyway. Just the twins that would suffer then, being moved to a new family.

It has to be abduction surly. All this would have gone away years ago but for the McCanns insistence the British Police got involved. Why do that if they are guilty? The McCanns are IMO despicable people but child sellers!! Child killers!! The accident theory slightly more possible. These are very intelligent people though, they couldn't possibly think they'd actually get away with it. Could you see your kid die then calmly eat a meal with your mates. Regardless of whether KAte and Gerry did anything, they allowed the opportunity for their kids to go missing/die/etc, they allowed the situation to unfold, what about their other kids? What risk do they face? Feeling remorseful over something doesn't mean that you shouldn't still be punisjed.
They went through hell just to have a kid, eventually being successful through IVF. They wouldn't sack that off for money. I can't see it anyway.
I know I guess I just sometimes feel that people can be punished for their mistakes in other ways than the law. Everyone makes mistakes.
